When you select a campaign, the editor automatically selects all of its active ad sets in the Select Ad Sets (optional) section. If you don't open that section to review, the ads will be published to all of those active ad sets, which can be unexpected. To publish to specific ad sets, open the section, uncheck the ones you don't want, and keep only the ones you do. The results list shows the ad set name on each row, so you can check where each ad landed. If something went to the wrong place, you can delete it directly from the list using the trash icon or bulk selection.
